Convert phone credit to cash

Have you ever decided to change mobile providers when you still had loads of credit left on your phone? Have you ever thought that it was a waste to leave it on the sim? This instructable will show you how you can transfer credit from your mobile phone account into your bank account, so that you don't have to waste any leftover money you have on your old sim.

Either:

- You can read the instructable all the way through.
- Or you can skip straight to it and work it out for yourself here

STEP 1: MOBILLCASH

What is mobillcash?
Mobillcash, the service that we're going to use to carry out this instructable, is designed as a payment system to allow online merchants to accept payment directly from people's mobiles. It works in the same way as premium text messaging services - the customer recieves a text message from the merchant's website at a premium rate, which pays for whatever service the merchant is offering.

We are going to be using the same principle, but a little more creatively. By setting yourself up as a merchant, you can send yourself premium rate text messages and the money that your mobile account is charged is paid into your own bank account. This allows you to reclaim any credit that you have left on an old sim card back into usable cash.

STEP 2: SET UP A MERCHANT ACCOUNT

To set up a merchant account, you need to go to mobillcash.com. Here, the page shown in image 1 comes up. Click through to sign up, and fill in all the appropriate data. I'm sure that you can do the rest. Standard sign-up procedures apply.
(Nothing compromising is needed during the sign-up process.. They haven't spammed my email address. I can't promise that they won't spam yours, but I doubt it.)

STEP 3: SETTING UP A PAYMENT LINK

Show All 9 Images

Once you've gone through all of the account set-up jive, you can set up a payment link. Follow the pictures:

STEP 4: PAY YOURSELF

This step describes the payment process. For an example, click this example payment link. This will actually take 25p from your mobile account (although you can cancel it before payment actually goes through), so only click the link if you are actually willing to spend 25p.

An example of the payment process is in the video (I am not in the video - it was already on youtube, so copyright goes to original author, etc.)

STEP 5: BANK DETAILS

You need to add your bank details to your account at this stage so that they can pay you.
The place to fill them in is highlighted in the picture on this step.

STEP 6: SUMMARY

Mobillcash is a site which allows the transfer of mobile credit into bank accounts. It charges a small percentage in order to do this which varies according to the value of the transaction and the countries of the merchant and the customer.

We can use this in order to transfer funds from an unused mobile sim back into cash.

Other ideas:
There are other ways that you could use this, of course. Obviously, it's possible to use it in the way it's intended, as a payment system for online purchases.
Also, many mobile service providers give out free promotional sims with a certain amount of free credit on them. If you had the inclination and the time, you could use this instructable and that fact to get some free money. Any other suggestions would be welcomed in the comments, and I might add them to the main body of the instructable if I get the chance.

N.B. The link in this article is an affiliate link. If you like this instructable, please sign up using either the link or this address: http://www.mobillcash.com/merchant/?aff_id=AF083724 as it costs you nothing and helps me. Thanks.

Finally - This is my first instructable. I hope that you enjoyed it! Please feel free to point out any discrepancies/ mistakes.

Why I Would Pick An Igbo Woman Over A Yoruba Woman Anyday – Daddy Freeze

OAP Freeze of Cool FM has come out to say that he prefers Igbo women to Yoruba women even as a Yoruba man.

Read below:

“I kinda agree…especially since I am Yoruba myself…From my ‘little’ experience, gathered during my university days and early bachelorhood and with body count on both sides, (before I gave my life to Christ), I can, through my own experience, say that Igbo girls are so much cleaner, more respectful, value marriage more, less argumentative and problematic, treat husbands better, are more beautiful, have sexier bodies, are more family oriented, cook better and are much more enterprising than Yoruba ladies. Unfortunately, I have never dated a Hausa, Fulani, Efik or Kalabari woman so I can’t comment on those. But if I were to pick between Yoruba and Igbo women, Na Igbo all the way o! Igbo kwenu! ~FRZ
———————-
It’s not fight o, if you agree tell me why, and if you disagree let’s disagree amicably, as your experience could have been totally different from mine.

Thousands demonstrate against scandal-hit Malaysia PM

Thousands demonstrate against scandal-hit Malaysia PM

Thousands of anti-government protesters marched in Malaysia's capital demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Najib Razak over his alleged involvement in a multi-billion dollar corruption scandal.

"The reason why people are on the streets is not just about asking him [Najib] to resign, but it is also about changing the system," Azmi Sharom, a law professor at the University of Malaysia, told Al Jazeera.

"The ruling party can win less popular votes and yet win the large majority in the house, so it's a serious systematic problem that needs to be changed and this is why most of the people are out on streets today."

Kanye West booed on stage, stoned with shoes for saying he would have voted Trump

Kanye West took a political stance during a concert in San Jose Thursday night, and the crowd wasn’t exactly receptive. He was booed by fans and stoned with shoes when he revealed that he would have voted for Republican Donald Trump.
West told the crowd during a stop on his Saint Pablo Tour in San Jose, California that while he didn’t vote in last week’s election, if he had cast a ballot it would have been for President-elect Donald Trump.
"I told you I didn't vote, right?, he asked the crowd.
"But I didn't tell you If I would've voted, I would've voted on Trump."
He added that he loved Trump's style of debating.
West said he was a fan of Trump’s campaign and he wanted to come out in support of him before the election but was told not to.
"I hate the fact that because I'm a celebrity everybody told me not to say I loved the debates. I loved his approach," he added.
According to attendees, some in the crowd started to boo the rapper and some actually threw shoes and other articles of clothing towards the stage.
West has a history of being outspoken politically. At a telethon for victims of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, West famously slammed President George W. Bush, saying he didn’t “care about black people.”
West has also said he would run for president in 2020.
