Cristiano Ronaldo To Become A Father Of Twin Boys Through Surrogacy

Real Madrid and Portuguese star, Cristiano Ronaldo is set to father twin baby boys by a surrogate mother in the USA, Dailymail has reported.
According to Dailymail, a source close to Ronaldo said he had told his inner circle he will fly his baby twins to his £5million mansion on the outskirts Madrid when they are born.
The source said: “Cristiano and his family can’t wait to meet the new members of their clan.
“He likes to keep a tight lid on his private life but has told loved ones and close friends the baby boys are due to arrive very soon.”
The source also said the mother to the twins is almost ‘due’.
There have been rumours that the forward sired his first son, Cristiano Jnr through surrogacy in 2010.

‘You Should never Compare Pogba With Kante’- Chelsea Boss Conte Says

Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte, has said there is no basis for comparison between N’Golo Kante and Paul Pogba, as they are very different players.
The Blues paid Leicester City £32million for Kante, while France team-mate Pogba, cost Manchester United a record-breaking fee of £89million.
“They are two different players with different characteristics,” Conte said.
“Paul I have had the opportunity in the past to train, for many years. We are talking about a top player – a top player in all situations, even in his commitment to training.
“He’s always trying to improve himself, he has good technique, physically he’s strong, great stamina. We are talking about a top, top player.”
Conte also insisted there is no special plan to contain Pogba, who will be expected to step up as Zlatan Ibrahimovic begins his three-match ban.
“We are working to try to find the right solution for the whole team, not only for Paul Pogba,” he continued.
“It was the same against West Ham, when we played against Andy Carroll, and there were questions about whether we would try and stop him.
“For sure, we are studying Manchester United to try and find the right solution. Paul is a really good player and we must pay great attention to him, above all when he arrives in the box. But we must think about the whole Manchester United team. They’re very strong.”

Barca Vs PSG Referee To Be Demoted After Faulty Decision In 6-1 Result At Nou Camp

Barca Vs PSG referee, Deniz Aytekin is set to be sidelined by Uefa after the referee came under pressure for several decisions in Barcelona’s 6-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain.
Barcelona pulled off an incredible comeback after heading into the second leg 4-0 down. The Catalan giants conceded an away goal to seemingly kill the game before and scoring three goals in the final seven minutes. Neymar’s superb free kick in the 88th minute sparked a goal rush as Barcelona scored the winner in the 95th minute.
The penalty decision that put Barcelona within a goal of pulling off the unlikely fightback was controversial as Luis Suarez went down under minimal contact. Aytekin pointed to the spot much to the fury of the PSG players who had already seen the referee book Suarez for diving earlier in the game.
The referee consulted with his assistant behind the goal despite having a better view of the incident and being closer to the action.
The German is now set to be taken off any future Champions League games and will not be given the chance to referee another high profile match this season.
Marca claim Aytekin could be demoted to lesser games and may even be sidelined from officiating all together as Uefa wait for the heat to die down.

FA CUP!! Middlesbrough 0-2 Manchester City (RESULT)

Goals from David Silva and Sergio Aguero gave Manchester City a deserved win over Middlesbrough and earned Pep Guardiola’s side a place in the FA Cup semi-finals.
Silva scored after only three minutes from six yards out after Pablo Zabaleta had time and space to cross low from the right.
Middlesbrough goalkeeper Brad Guzan produced a number of fine saves to deny Silva, Leroy Sane and deflect an Aguero shot on to the post.
But Aguero finally made the result safe when he converted from Sane’s low cross to earn his side a Wembley semi-final.

Leicester City Names New Manager | See His Name And Profile

Leicester City football club of England, the defending champions of England have announced Craig Shakespeare, assistant coach turned caretaker manager, as its new head coach till the season’s end.
Following the much criticized sacking of Claudio Ranieri who helped the club to its first premier league title, the club apppointed Shakespeare as its caretaker manager, but following wins over Liverpool and Hull city- he’s now been given the permanent role of manager till the season’s end.
According to the report by Sun U.K; Owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha and son Aiyawatt held talks with the former England coach this week to discuss the plans going forward.
And his impact in guiding the team to two vital victories that have lifted them away from the relegation zone was enough to convince the Thai duo he was the man to stay in position for the remainder of the season.
Shakespeare has made no secret of his desire to have the job on a long-term basis since he succeeded Ranieri in charge at the King Power a fortnight ago.
Ranieri was axed as the Foxes plummeted down towards the drop zone having lost the support of the dressing room.
Shakespeare maintained huge support among the squad, and he has been quick to return the side to the tactics and set-up that brought so much success last season.
His players responded immediately, storming to a 3-1 win over Liverpool in the first game following Ranieri’s departure.
And they backed it up last weekend as they beat Hull city in a crucial Premier League match that saw them move five points clear of the bottom three.
But the players and Shakespeare have been criticised in some quarters for not trying for their former manager and getting him the sack.
Leicester have been looking around to see who they should bring in on a full-time basis, with Roberto Mancini and Roy Hodgson both contacted to sound out their interest.
But the main priority is to ensure the club are not relegated, and with Shakespeare getting such impressive results in his first two matches the club have decided to make an interim appointment.
If he continues to do well, Shakespeare would be in pole position to take over the job on a longer-term deal.

‘Why PSG Lost 6-1 To Barcelona’- Manager Unai Emery Finally Reveals

Paris Saint-Germain Manager, Unai Emery admitted his team “lost everything” after referee decisions went against them as they threw away 4-0 first-leg lead over Barcelona in a 6-1 second-leg humiliation at the Camp Nou in the Champions League round of 16.
Barcelona were 2-0 up at half-time through a Luis Suarez strike and a Layvin Kurzawa own goal, and Lionel Messi added Barca’s third early in the second half from the penalty spot to boost moral of the home side.
Edinson Cavani pulled one back at 62 minute to keep the hope of advancing to the quarter finals alive for the French giants but a Neymar free kick and penalty minutes apart set the stage for Sergi Roberto’s miraculous 95th minute goal to complete the rally and sent the Catalans through to the next stage.
Emery said after the match, “When we analyse it, it is true that we have missed a major opportunity. The first half was our fault and we didn’t manage to press or do things with the ball. We defended very deep and they had more chances to score. We made mistakes for the two first-half goals.
“We were calmer in the second half and better positioned. We improved and had a chance for 3-2. The refereeing decisions went against us and we lost everything in the closing minutes. Barcelona are capable of doing that. It was all or nothing for them in the final minutes.
“It’s a negative experience for me and for the club. We need to learn from it.”

Best ever’ Neymar hails historic Barcelona

Barcelona’s Brazilian forward Neymar kisses the ball as he celebrates after scoring during the UEFA Champions League round of 16 second leg football match FC Barcelona vs Paris Saint-Germain FC at the Camp Nou stadium in Barcelona on March 8, 2017. / AFP PHOTO / PAU BARRENA
Neymar described his two-goal display as the “best game” of his career as he inspired the greatest comeback in Champions League history Barcelona thrashed Paris Saint-Germain 6-1.
The Catalans became the first side to come back from a 4-0 first leg deficit as Neymar scored twice in the final two minutes and then teed up a 95th-minute winner by Sergi Roberto to reach the quarter-finals 6-5 on aggregate.
“This is the best game I have ever played. For what it meant, for what we experienced and because I am in great form,” the Brazilian told BeIN Sports.

Luis Suarez’s early opener, a Layvin Kurzawa own goal and Lionel Messi’s penalty put Barca 3-0 up inside 50 minutes.
However, the Spanish champions looked down and out when Edison Cavani volleyed home what seemed to be the clinching away goal for PSG.
“Before… we believed and now even more,” Neymar added on Barca’s chances winning a sixth Champions League.
“When they scored the goal we had a little dip but then there was the fourth and the penalty. We concentrated and Sergi’s goal came.
“I know that we have made history. A team like this can do anything. The game was lost and we went out to play without pressure and with joy, throwing everything forward.”
Barca boss Luis Enrique announced last week that he will leave the club at the end of the season after he was heavily criticised following their 4-0 humiliation in Paris three weeks ago.
And Enrique took the chance to round on his critics as he thanked the “faith” of the Barca players and fans.
“First we had the mourning and that was especially hard on one person,” he said.
“This victory is dedicated to all Barca fans, but especially those that had faith in their team even after a day in which they were clearly outplayed by a team like PSG.”
– Baby boom –
Defender Gerard Pique even predicted a baby boom in the Catalan capital set off by Roberto’s outstretched right leg sparking delirium among nearly 100,000 at the Camp Nou.
“I would say to the hospitals of Barcelona to hire nurses. Tonight people will make a lot of love,” said Pique, the partner of Colombian pop star Shakira.
“It’s a miracle. We are in the quarters, which was the objective before it got a lot more complicated in Paris,” said Pique.
“We never stopped believing, even the fans, who are normally the most pessimistic. It seems this new generation believes in the team more.
“We have done it all together and that helps a lot.”
Despite Neymar, Suarez and Messi’s heroics, it was Roberto who proved to be Barca’s unlikely hero as he choose the perfect time to score his first goal of the season.
“I threw myself at it with everything,” said the Spanish international.
“We left Paris very down and now this is incredible. We were prepared for all this. The fans were like 10 extra players and in the end this is all for them.”
And Enrique confessed he had questioned why Roberto doesn’t find the net with more regularity.
“I saw him score a lot of goals in the youth team and it is always a joke between us ‘why doesn’t Sergi Roberto score?’ And then he scores tonight,” added Enrique.
“This sport is indescribable.”

Borussia Dortmund 4-0 Benfica (Agg 4-1) Aubemeyang Rescues Dortmund

Match Report

Borussia Dortmund secured a place in the last eight, blasted there by a hat-trick by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Christian Pulisic’s first Champions League goal
Gabonese striker Aubameyang was unplayable and terrorised the Benfica defence, as Thomas Tuchel’s men overturned a 1-0 first leg deficit.
Tuchel had insisted his side would attack from the off and they were true to his word, taking the lead after just four minutes, Aubameyang heading home after a clever corner routine.
Benfica came back into the game before the break, and should have equalised through Franco Cervi, but his tame effort went straight at Roman Burki.
Within minutes of the second half, the Portuguese side were left to rue that miss.
With Benfica on the edge of their own penalty area, a clever Lukas Piszczek pass found Pulisic, who matched his intelligent run with an impudent finish over Ederson.
Minutes later, Aubameyang - guilty of squandering three earlier chances - tapped home from close range, after a magnificent volleyed cross from Marcel Schmelzer.
And late in the day, Aubameyang had his third, teed up by Pulisic for his 28th goal of the season.

‘Arsenal Deserved Better’- Bayern Boss Ancelotti Reveals

Bayern Munich Manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has said that the 5-1 thrashing of Arsenal in the second leg of the Champions League round-of-16 at the Emirate Stadium on Tuesday night was not the true reflection of what happened on the pitch.
The German Champions progressed to the last-8 after dumping the Gunners 10-2 on aggregate and the Manager said the match was a difficult one for his side.
After Theo Walcott’s first half strike, things turned around after Bayern were awarded a penalty and Koscielny was handed a red card.
Lewandowski converted from the spot, before Robben and Costa scored one each and Vidal scored a brace to put Arsene Wenger and his men to the sword.
And Ancelotti believes Arsenal were on top of things before Koscielny was sent off.
He told post-match news conference, “It was not a crazy game, more difficult. Until the penalty the game was really difficult.
“Arsenal played really well for 50 minutes, putting a lot of pressure in the game.
“We had difficulty defensively and also with the ball. We did mistakes that we are not used to doing.
“This result doesn’t really respect what happened on the pitch because Arsenal played a really good game.
“With 10 men it was really difficult. For us, the penalty took out all the pressure that we had.
“We started to play with one more man and we scored a lot of goals but, honestly, the result does not respect what happened.”

La Liga: Barcelona go top as Ronaldo rescues point for Real Madrid

Real Madrid Vs Las Palmas
Cristiano Ronaldo may have lost some speed on account of age but he has not lost the ability to be a headliner.
Real Madrid were in the throes of defeat before their talisman scored two goals in four minutes to end the match at 3-3.
With just that point, Real slipped behind their eternal rivals, Barcelona, who hammered Sporting Gijon 6-1 after which manager Luis Enrique announced that he would be stepping down from the job come the end of the season.
Los Blancos had to accomplish the draw the hard way as Gareth Bale was sent off two minutes into the second half as a red mist descended on the Wales star. He was initially shown a yellow card by referee David Borbalan for a kick out at Jonathan Viera but was then shown a straight red card for lifting his hand to the Las Palmas playmaker.
Zinedine Zidan’s men then lost the plot as Sergio Ramos handed the Islanders a penalty before Keylor Navas completely misjudged a ball to allow Kevin Prince Boateng score his team’s third at Santiago Bernebeu.
Real were awarded another controversial penalty on 85 minutes, which Ronaldo converted. He then powered a header past Javi Varas in the 89th minute to rescue a point for the deposed table leaders.
Real still have a game in hand (against Celta Vigo) and all they can do if they win the match is go two points ahead of Barcelona. This scenario now makes the second edition of this season’s El Clasico on April 23rd a dicey encounter for both clubs as Real seek a first league title in five years.

My United Future Does Not Depend On Champions League – Ibrahimovic

Manchester United striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has dismissed rumours that he may leave the club if they fail in their bid to qualify for the Champions League next season.
He said his United future does not depend on the club qualifying for Champions League.
The 35-year-old, scored twice as Jose Mourinho’s men lifted EPL Cup on Sunday.
With that, he has now scored 26 times in 38 appearances for the club.
He is yet to commit to a 12-month extension to his current Old Trafford contract, which expires on June 30.
Jose Mourinho said after the Sunday’s victory against Southampton that he would not beg the player to sign for the club.
The Swede told reporters, “No, it’s not about that [Champions League].
“I came here and the club wasn’t in the Champions League, so it had nothing to do with the Champions League.
“So somebody made up a story that if they don’t qualify for the Champions League I will not extend. It has nothing to do with that.
“Let’s see what happens. I mean the moment, how I feel, the situation, we have another two months of the season to go, because according to many I could not do what I’ve been doing.”

Antonio Conte Reveals Fears Over His Future Following Jose Mourinho’s Warning

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has admitted he fears getting sacked before the end of his three-year contract at the Stamford Bridge.
The Italian boss joined the Blues last summer after leading Italy national team to the Euro 2016 in France, and has helped Chelsea to a comfortable stance in the Premier League despite having a slow start to life in England.
However, his predecessor Jose Mourinho who got sacked at the Stamford Bridge in 2015, has now warned that modern football does not guarantees job security for managers even if they win the league title.
Antonio Conte has now revealed he might not be able to continue to coach at the Stamford Bridge, saying:
‘I think in this type of modern football, it’s not easy to start a project and to be sure you will stay a long time in the same team. But honestly not only for me, for all coaches.
‘If you have the possibility to stay for many years in the same team, then you can work to improve your idea, to improve your players, but the result in football is very important.
‘We all know this, and we know it can happen, that one season, you can win the title, the next season you can go away.’
Mourinho stressed the idea after Claudio Ranieri was sacked from his position at Leicester City despite leading them to a historic Premier League title win last season.

Revealed!! Chelsea Reportedly Rejected £90M From Chinese Club For Striker Diego Costa (Read Full Details)

Chelsea reportedly turned down a world-record offer for Diego Costa.
Chinese Super League club, Tianjin Quanjin, were keen on the Spain international and were ready to pay as much as €107million (£90.3million) to sign him.
SFR Sport reports that Costa was offered a salary of over £85million return for a three-year contract.
Costa’s head was turned by the deal and he clashed with manager Antonio Conte, which resulted to him being dropped for the trip to Leicester City.
Tianjin owner Shu Yuhui had confirmed last month, that he held talks with Costa’s agent, Jorges Mendes.
“I made an appointment with Mendes and he came to my hometown to visit me. At that time, we were interested in signing Costa,” he said.
“PSG told us Cavani would only be allowed to leave in June, even though the player himself was willing to join us.
“The same can be said for Costa because Chelsea would only let him leave in June. However, the new season of CSL will almost reach the halfway stage in June, we can’t wait so long.”
